Robust Design – These generators are designed to work efficiently even in cold weather conditions, with performance down to 0 °F (-18 °C) and extreme cold weather models performing at -40 °F (-40 °C). They are certified as per the latest EPA, UL, and CSA standards.
Intelligent Load Management – Each generator can control up to 4 loads independently, optimizing utilization by restoring power only to those loads the generator can run.
Flexible Exercise Modes – Exercise modes can be set according to user requirements, allowing the generator to run diagnostics without starting the engine, reducing engine wear and tear, and fuel costs.
Remote Monitoring – Monitor your generator remotely using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Packaged Sets Available – The RS20AC comes with a 20-kW generator and 200A service entrance rated ATS for added convenience.
Size & Sound Level – Dimensions are 34.1 inches (865 mm) in length, 36.0 inches (915 mm) in width, and 27.3 inches (694 mm) in height. Sound levels are at 65 dB(A) at 23 ft. (7 m) under normal load.
Voltage/Frequency – Delivers 120/240 Volts at a frequency of 60Hz.
Engine & Electrical Specs – Equipped with a natural gas/propane engine with synthetic oil and a 100A circuit breaker. Battery charger is at 4 Amps.
Enclosure – Featuring an aluminum exterior and a galvanized steel interior, the enclosure is evaluated to withstand 180 MPH wind loads according to ASCE7-10.
Code Compliance – Approvals include UL 2200, CSA 22.2 and B149.1, EPA emissions, and NFPA 37 for 18 inches.
Warranty – Comes with a 5 years/2000 hours base warranty, with extended options available.
Fuel System – Single fuel, natural gas or propane vapor, field selectable. Set to natural gas from the factory.
Service and Installation – With easy service and installation, Cummins provides an extensive distributor/dealer support network. Operation and installation manuals are included with the generator set. Extended warranties are available as well.
Accessories – A plethora of accessories are available including In-home monitoring displays, Enclosure Paint Touchup Kits, Extreme Cold Weather Kits, and Preventative Maintenance Kits.
Transfer switch: Automatic Transfer Switches available in various amperages. Service Entrance and Non-Service Entrances models are all UL listed.
Technical Details
The generator series includes four models: RS13A, RS17A, RS20A, & RS20AC with part numbers A061C591, A061C596, A061C601, and A061C602 respectively. They vary in weight and rated amp. Extreme cold weather models are available with yes-rated amp similar to their respective standard models.
